Though I longed for the snow since July, I’m starting to feel the Spring yearning. I’ve always loved the beginning of the season – and though we’re still weeks out, images like the one above make me smile.
This Spring, I plan to spend every ounce of free time outdoors. Even if it means taking a book outside — there’s a rock near the Flatirons with a crazy view of Boulder where I used to study during college and I’m plotting to become acquainted with it all over again. I’m especially excited to hang out in the park around the corner from our house. It’s right on the Boulder Creek and vibrant with roaring snowmelt & picnic-ers in April and sunbathers & tubers in May. Last year in early March (before we even found this house!), I ventured down to this same park to capture the changing seasons on film. These photos make me thirsty!
