When it comes to one-stop style stores, I’m as big a fan of J. Crew as the First Lady. I prefer it to Anthropologie mainly because I am 5’11″ and sometimes I feel like Anthro is made for 5’6″ people, but also because I love tailored lines and classics. When I first learned of Madewell, J. Crew’s younger, jean-loving sister, a year ago (hey, remember that CO is a bit isolated!), I instantly became an enthusiast. The introduction of their website this summer has had me drooling for 5 months. And this season, their gift guide is one of my favorites around. Can you believe it’s only 10 days until Christmas?! I have all but one gift purchased, and all but three wrapped, all due to the early December shopping trip ~ but working in downtown Boulder, I’d say there are a lot of people sneaking out of their offices to do some lunchtime shopping.
